The match will be the second of the season for the Pirates in 2023, who finished last seasons campaign as State Finalists and Essex County and Super Essex Conference champions.
Brian Monteverdi ‘84 was hired on Thursday, April 20, 2023, as Seton Hall Prep’s new Head Ice Hockey Coach, Director of Athletics Larry Baggitt announced. Monteverdi returns home to his alma mater as current Head Coach of the North Jersey Avalanche, a youth club based in Hackensack, NJ.

The SHP Swim team was defeated by #1 seed St. Augustine Prep 91-79 in the semifinals of the NJSIAA Non-Public A State Tournament on February 20 at the Raritan Bay Area YMCA in Perth Amboy.

The SHP Swim Team Defeated Bergen Catholic 97-73 in the quarterfinal round of the NJSIAA Non-Public A Tournament. The Pirates captured 7 first place finishes out of 11 events, including all three relay events.
