Kelly Athletic Complex

Located on nearby Prospect Avenue is the Kelly Athletic Complex, commonly referred to as the “KAC,” home to the school’s baseball, soccer, tennis, track and field, lacrosse, football, and strength and conditioning programs.

Purchased by the Prep in 1994 and named after Edward and Helen Kelly, parents of SHP President Monsignor Michael Kelly '57, the KAC hosted its first competition in September of 2001.

Another landmark moment for the Prep came in November of 2014, when ground was broken on the property following the long awaited approval of the West Orange Zoning Board.

Pictured below are plans for the final phase, which includes the addition of two baseball fields, five tennis courts, a refreshment stand, team room, auxiliary practice field, and resurfacing and development of the stadium field.
