Alumni In Action

    • Denver Nuggets Head Coach Michael Malone, SHP '88, pictured after winning his first NBA Championship in 2023. Malone served as Nuggets Head Coach from 2015-2025.

    • Jaylen McClain '24 is off to an impressive start for The Ohio State Buckeyes, most recently earning the Special Teams Player of the Week recognition after his performance against Northwestern (November, 2024).

    • SHP classmates support Minnesota Twins Pitcher David Festa ‘18 at his MLB debut in June, 2024.  L to R: Ryan Hebert ‘18, Jack Zyska ‘18, Festa '18, and Michael Gaudioso ‘18.

    • John Hopkins Graduate Student Aidan Dunphy '20 is doing it on and off the soccer field for the Blue Jays, earning MVP honors in the Centennial Conference tournament, and also being named to College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team

    • Shawn Lyght '23 earned Defensive Player of the Year at Notre Dame in his second Lacrosse season for the Irish.

    • Ryan Matulonis '23 (left) and Xavier Donaldson '23 (right) were record breakers for Seton Hall Prep Track & Field, and have continued their excellent careers at their respective Ivy League schools (Donaldson, Princeton; Matulonis at UPenn), and both have competed amongst the best nationally representing USA.

    • Classmates, friends and former teammates show up to support Eddie Krupski '24 at one of his first home games for Rutgers Soccer.

    • Tyler Dunn '24 and former SHP Track Coach John Finnegan after a Cornell game, where Dunn plays on the offensive line.

    • Richard Poplawski '24 had a very successful performance at the US Olympic Trials in Indianapolis in June, 2024. He is continuing his stellar Swimming career at Harvard University.

    • Tom Callahan '19 has been invited to numerous NFL camps as he looks to earn a spot on an NFL roster this year (2025) as a long snapper.

    • Ryan Sprock '22 was named a semifinalist for the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award by the College Baseball Hall of Fame (2025). Sprock was announced as being a member of the All-CAA First Team as well this season for his efforts at Elon University.
