Winter Track places 3rd at County Relays

In what was a great effort by all athletes with some great personal bests posted, the team scored 34 points behind Shabazz and Livingston High School.

Highlights

DMR placed 1st in a time of 10:58:50 led by Charlie Grube ‘27 (3:30.25), Linwood Nelson ‘27 (51.94), Logan Bernett ‘26 (2:03.64) and Tommy Bassinger ‘26 (4:32.69)

Shuttle Hurdles placed 6th with a time of 34.51

SMR placed 4th in a time of 3:42.44

4x200 placed 5th with a time of 1:32.82

4x800 placed 2nd with a season best 8:22.64 

4x400 placed 5th with a time of 3:32.43

Shot put team placed 3rd with combined throws of 81-9.50

HJ placed 6th with a combined jump of 11-3

Team will be back in action next Wednesday for the Essex County Championship at Ocean Breeze.
