Cross Country beats Caldwell, MKA
The Cross Country team defeated both Caldwell and Montclair Kimberly Academy in the opening conference race of the season
In the first conference race of the season at Branch Brook Park, the Cross Country team ran a controlled and confident race beating both Caldwell (21-38) and Montclair Kimberley Academy (19-39).
Junior Connor Schmit and Senior co-captain TJ Sparno led throughout and finished #1 and #2 in the race.
Scoring for the Pirates were Schmit (17:56), Sparno (18:00), Junior Ben Brennan (18:45), Senior co-captain Russ Webb (18:59) and Freshman Andrew Burkitt (19:13).
The Pirates will be back in action next Tuesday.
